Beckoning Dimensions is the brainchild of guest curator and experimental multidisciplinary artist Morgan-Paige and will feature performances by TENMC musicians alongside projections by new media artst and VJ Enna Kim [fongkikid].

"A moment in time where worlds collide, and your dream state becomes reality. A reflection of one’s self emanated from their own distant entity. This sonic and visual experience welcomes everyone in the room to explore bridging multiple worlds and versions of themselves to garner a semblance of buried unknowns.
With projection mapping setups and semi-improvised music and sound art, audiences will experience sound triggered visuals viewing a distorted interactive mirror image of Thin Edge New Music Collective performers. This project will involve a collaboration between noise, sound, and projection artists." -Morgan-Paige

Morgan-Paige
Morgan-Paige (they/she) is a Toronto-based goth experimental multidisciplinary artist. Their work ranges from music composition, film scoring, musical performances, sound design, 3D digital art, virtual reality and artificial reality experiences. Morgan-Paige has performed and presented works extensively in Canada and internationally, including 21C Music Festival (Toronto, ON), Burdock Piano Fest (Toronto, ON), Suoni Per Il Popolo (Montréal, QC), MOCA Toronto, Nuit Blanche (Toronto, ON), Wavelength Music Festival (Toronto, ON), the Cinéclub Film Society Silent Film Festival (Besançon, France), BRDCST Festival (Brussels, Belgium), and Purple City Music Festival (Edmonton, AB). Their works and story have been featured in Toronto-based magazines including Musicworks Magazine Winter 2020-2021 Issue 138, The WholeNote Magazine, Ludwig van Toronto and the Toronto Guardian, along with a series of award-winning collaborations for short films and staged productions.
Enna Kim
Enna Kim [fongkikid] is a new media artist + VJ exploring the bounds between nature, technology and human relationships. Using bold, glitchy, gooey colours, she merges digital and analog mediums as explorations of her cultural identity, casting shadows of her past, present and future self.
She has exhibited work for Epson, Panasonic and Canon and the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO). Enna was a VJ for music festivals like Venus Fest, Wavelength Festival, Livecode.NYC and MUTEK. She has performed on stages alongside artists like Octo Octa, Rani Jambak, myst milano, Suzi Analogue, Marc-Antoine Barbier and Lucid Express.

Cheryl Duvall
Cheryl Duvall is recognized as one of Canada’s foremost contemporary music artists, celebrated as a pianist, interpreter, presenter, and tireless advocate. Known for her versatility, she brings thoughtful agility, nuance, and depth to an extraordinary range of repertoire and collaborative settings.
Duvall has performed throughout Canada, the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Argentina, with appearances at the National Arts Centre, Bang on a Can, Suoni per il Popolo, and more.
As co-founder of Thin Edge New Music Collective, she has commissioned over 80 works and helped build one of Canada’s most adventurous contemporary ensembles. Their recording Dark Flower earned a JUNO nomination and international acclaim.
Her solo discography includes Harbour, Intimes exubérances, and an ongoing four-volume survey of Linda Catlin Smith’s piano music. Duvall is also Artistic Director of the Chamber Music Society of Mississauga and Chair of the Toronto Arts Council Music Committee.
Nathan Petitpas
Nathan Petitpas is a percussionist, composer, and educator who is dedicated to the performance of contemporary music by living composers. He has been a member of the Thin Edge New Music Collective since 2012 and has worked with organizations such as the Esprit Orchestra, Array Music, Evergreen Club Contemporary Gamelan, the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Arts Centre’s English Theatre, the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, Cirque du Soleil, FAWN Chamber Creative, Freesound and many others. Through his work, Nathan has had the honour of premiering dozens of new compositions by living composers and has performed in various festivals and concert series across Canada as well as in the United States, Europe, and South America including the Internationales Gamelan Musikfestival in Munich, Nuit Blanche Toronto, New Works Edmonton, Société de Musique Contemporeiane du Québec, New Music Calgary, Music on Main (Vancouver), Open Spaces in Victoria, the Music Gallery’s X Avant series, and NUMUS.
A versatile performer, Nathan can be seen playing in orchestras, chamber ensembles, opera pits, musical theatre pits, pop/rock bands, gamelan ensembles, radio dramas, stand-up comedy shows, and modern dance classes to name a few.
As an educator, Nathan has coached students at the Royal Conservatory of Music, University of Toronto, Acadia University, Dalhousie University, the Toronto All City Band, and many other youth orchestra programs and high schools. He currently teaches a variety of music programs at Community Music Schools of Toronto and in his private studio in Toronto.
Nathan holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Music degree from Acadia University and is an artist endorser of Dream Cymbals and Gongs.
Justin Massey
Canadian saxophonist Justin Massey is an interpreter of contemporary music based in Toronto, Ontario. With an obsession of creating new sonorities and textures through the saxophone, Justin searches for obscure and unexplored sounds offered by the instrument and its unparalleled potential to create visceral and emotional music. Justin presents music of his generation in all his performances by commissioning new repertoire and collaborating closely with composers in search of these new sounds, often through electronic manipulation of the saxophone.
Justin collaborates as both a saxophonist, audio engineer, and producer in throughout Toronto. He regularly performs with the Thin Edge New Music Collective, Freesound, Array Music, and the Music Gallery. He has commissioned and collaborated with composers Camila Agosto, Carolyn Borcherding, Brian Lee Topp, Jacob Sachs-Mishalanie, and Jason Charney to create new works for saxophone and live electronics.
Justin is an Assistant Professor of Saxophone at the Don Wright Faculty of Music at Western University in London, Ontario. He has previously taught at St. Andrew’s College (Aurora, Ontario), the Cresent School, and teaches a private studio in Toronto. He regular teaches outreach saxophone clinics in the greater Toronto area.
Justin completed his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at West Virginia University. He has previously studied at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux, and has earned degrees from Bowling Green State University, the University of Alberta, and Grant MacEwan University. He has studied with Michael Ibrahim, Marie-Bernadette Charrier, John Sampen, Allison Balcetis, and William Street.
